The role of European Volunteers within the campaign

 

The project welcomes three EVS volunteers in the frame of the Youth Program of the European Comission. EVS volunteers arrive into Spain in late spring and devote the weeks before the summer to prepare themselves for the campaign.

While the Spanish volunteers only take part in SAFE MOUNTAINS during 11 days in July and August EVS volunteers remain in the Pyrenees during the whole summer and then go back to Zaragoza to remain there during the fall and help with the administrative tasks related to the campaign.
